Rosemarie Hill-Rouse, Vice President Sales & Marketing

Who is Rosemarie?

I am the Vice President of Sales& Marketing for the   VAR Channel Partner,  I assist our partners with  solutions to the most challenging applications.  My favorite part of my position is application and material training for our partners.

I joined PTI in March of 2017 bringing with me 30+ years of experience in the labeling industry working with VAR Partners throughout the continental US.  I believe in solutions sales.  Applications are the core to what we do.  If it does not work, it does not matter how much it cost.  I believe in bringing value to our partners through our expertise in the identification world.

My hobbies include embroidery sewing and crafting, cooking and shopping at flea market and antique stores.  I love music of any kind and listing to books while driving.

Who was your childhood idol?

I would have to say my parents were my idols.  I learned so much from them.  My love of crafting from my mom and my sales and negotiating abilities from my dad.  I love the way my mom could make anyone smile on a good or bad day.

What makes PTI a great company?

Like all others I would have to agree the people of this company make this company great.  The can-do attitude is the norm with all the employees at PTI.  The employees make a difference and that is what makes this ESOP company special in many ways.  I have worked for the big companies and I remember being just a number.  At PTI everyone is an individual and is treated with respect and kindness.    Everyone brings special talents to the table and together as a team we are amazing.  We bring the expertise of the big companies with personalization of the smaller companies.  Every customer matters.  We believe in relationships and doing what it takes for our partners.

Have you always worked in printing? How did you get into this industry?

Gosh no, early on I was the jack of all trades from waitressing to office jobs.  But I knew sales was in my blood.  I look at sales as teaching position.  My goal is to help people learn about products so the product benefits them and their company.  I started in the industry in 1985 working for companies like Weber Marking Systems, Identco and Honeywell for most of my career.

What is something unique about you that most people would never guess?

Gosh this is a hard one.  I am an open book to most.  I can walk and chew gum at the same time.  I love to go camping & fishing.  And I love to wrap gifts with foil paper.
